The heart of a Giver!

Many of you heard all about my promotion during Christmas to raise money for an amazing non-profit organization called, Project Angel Food. If you did not, then I will briefly recap by saying that some friends of mine that are also models in the industry including a handful of Randy Blue models and my photographer friend, Ninon, came together to make a charity calendar to raise money for the organization, Project Angel Food. The organization is responsible to providing warm meals to patients and families of those that have been forced to face life threatening illness that has caused them to not be able to provide food for themselves.

Thankfully, we were able to sell through most of the calendars we had printed. However, I still have about 75 that just made the move with me and I want to not only use them to raise more money for the organization, but also get them out of my hair! haha

I thought about this because I was thinking about doing a live event in San Francisco and having the boys come up and give them away for donations during the course of the night or a live auction. But not so sure I have time to put that together right now. Therefore, I decided to offer the following to those that have it in their hearts and pockets to help be a part of a changed life!

When you use the paypal link below to donate at least $10 USD, you will receive the calendar in the mail as a thank you for your donation to, Project Angel Food. Shipping and handling are included in the donation of $10 or more.

In addition, if you donate $15 USD or more then you will receive a 2011 Boys in the City Calendar as well as 30 days FREE to www.TuckerScott.com!

This link will continue to work until the last calendar is sold!

Thank you and please use the link below :) XOXO

1ST WEEK WORKING AT NEXT DOOR STUDIOS

For those of you that are not aware, I started working in the office of Next Door Studios this week. My job responsibilities have a bit to do with a lot of different areas of the company. However, my main duty is keeping up the www.nextdoorstudios.com website. In addition to being webmaster, I also oversee quality control of the content and I’m in charge of viral marketing for all of our 12 websites in addition to NextDoorStudios.com

As you already know, my first day of work was actually my birthday on Monday. I arrived to find out that I had no boss present for my first day as one was in LA and the other was home in bed as he had pulled his groin. Ouch! Never the less, I managed to push through launching our YouTube page (http://www.youtube.com/menofnextdoor) and get some other first day prep things out of the way.

On Tuesday, I found out that we had won two cybersocket awards the night before including, “Best Web Company” & “Company of the Year”. Next Door truly deserves it, as I can tell you from an new insider of the company that the motivation to take the quality of content to the next level is far more advanced than other companies in the industry at this point. I work very close with the editors and see the product from the raw stage to the final product and these guys are super sick serious about being cutting edge not to mention I already feel like I’m bonding well with them! We will finalize that step during the next big game day with an ice cold beer!

Wednesday proved to be another rewarding day when they announced that we had won the XBIZ award for, “Gay Affiliate Program of the Year”. This was for our company, Next Door Buddy Profits. See I told you that we are rockin’ it! Wednesday was also the web cam show of one of our exclusives, Samuel O’Toole. Samuel and most of the models come to the office to do their live shows from the cam room. Okay…. moment to take a deeeeeeep breathe…. “He’s my secret BIG crush now!”. Don’t tell anyone, I have to keep it professional and well balanced in showing my “favorites”. HAHA! Surprising, it wasn’t his looks, body.. cock or ass that got me going! When I met him face to face during my visit before starting the job, he’s charm won me over! So with that being said, go right now and join his website if you love me at all!

Okay… so fast forward though Thursday to Friday evening since you can see what I did for the most part by going to the www.nextdoorstudios.com page and ready the entries. But on Friday, while finishing up my day the boss called me into the office. Has your heart paused yet? Yeah, mine did when I was told the boss wanted to speak with me in his office! I sat down and he wanted to talk about getting me paid…. WOW, a boss wants to initiate the conversation of giving me money as soon as possible… feeling special I am! Who knows, maybe by Friday I was looking a little homely or something! haha He ended the conversation by telling me how pleased he was with my work. This sent me into a great weekend for sure!

Yesterday, my new roommate and legendary photographer who also is our photographer at Next Door Studios arrived with his 26’ Uhaul and niece driving his car. He’s gone right now to take her to the train station and the Uhaul is still in the drive way. I looked in the back of it, REALLY not happy about trying to get in there and help! Afterall, I unloaded the 20” truck that I brought up which the back half of was Mick’s stuff anyhow all by myself at 3 AM when I arrived here at the new house. This is where I wish I had enough money to hire Samuel O’Toole to come on over and unload the truck while I watch him ;P

Oh… Mick just opened the door… gotta go ‘til next time!

XOXO TUCKER

My Birthday #failure

So… Monday, February 7th was my birthday and I guess you could say that I have mixed emotions about how I was able to celebrate it this year. I’ve got to be honest, since I was 18 years old I have been out living on my own and because of that my family has not been around during my birthday to help me celebrate. Sure, I’ve had the occasional celebration of having a friend pick up the tab at dinner for my birthday, but never actually had a birthday gathering or party if you will. I know I could have put my own birthday party on, but who really does that?!

This year not only did I not have a chance to officially “celebrate” by birthday, but I also had not even a friend within driving distance to eat dinner with me for it. You see, I started a new job (which is a birthday present in itself), but the job required me to relocate to a place 7 hours away from Los Angeles where my friends that live the closest are. Therefore, the idea of being able to finish work on Monday at 5:30pm and then drive 7 hours to have a birthday dinner or whatever and then be back in the office at 9am the next morning was not an option! Let me just say now, I miss my few true friends in LA soooo much already! Growing up and trying to be successful in life really does have it’s tolls and sacrifices!

What did I end up doing you ask? More than likely you don’t care… but I’m going to tell you anyhow since this is my blog and I feel better just by typing it! lol I sat in my empty four bedroom house listening to what I though was a ghost trying to scare me off and instead of birthday cake, I had a diet coke!

Cheers to a better birthday wish for next year!
